Great Food and Friendly Service

The Sea Captain's House is one of those rare "tourist traps" that actually deserves the crowds who eat there each night. The seafood items in particular are world class. Fresh, and well prepared. I had the Chefs Seafood Muddle, which is a low country translation of French Boullabaise. It was superb. And the She Crab soup is to die for. The servive was highly professional and yet still very friendly. This is definitely not one of those hoy polloy pretentious places, yet it serves even better food than can be found at most of the restaurants that claim to offer gourmet cuisine. The dining room is immaculate and tasteful. It appeared to be newly renovated. Considering the high quality of the food, this place was terrific value. Highly recommended.
